GETTING STARTED

How do I get a quote?

This involves submitting project details like quantity, size, paper type and how many sides you require to print on.
This can be done via the quote form on our website, or directly via email [email protected].
Alternatively, you can contact us on (03) 9775 1156 and give us these details over the phone.

How do I send my files?

Files over 10mb can be sent via the ‘UPLOAD FILE HERE’ button on the top right corner. Files under 10mb can also be sent this way, or via email to [email protected]

What is a PDF proof and why do I need one?

The PDF proof carries a digital version of the product and allows you to check for errors/omissions prior to commencing the full print run. This is a very important step and must be checked carefully by the customer. Once approved, the job moves to printing.

PRINTING PROCESS

What is the difference between offset, digital and large format printing?

Offset printing: Ideal for high-volume jobs. Offers high quality and lower cost per unit at large quantities, but has longer setup and turnaround times.
Digital printing: Best for short runs and fast turnarounds. Great for personalised prints with minimal setup.
Large format printing: Used for oversized jobs like banners, posters and signs. Prints on a range of vinyl and paper materials.

What is the Pantone Matching System?

PMS is a colour matching system that ensures consistent colour reproduction across different print jobs. Most jobs today are printed in full colour (CMYK = Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black), but we still use the PMS colour swatches for colour matching PMS jobs.

FINISHING

What types of binding options are available for books?

Saddle Stitching: Staples hold folded sheets at the spine; best for booklets under 60 pages.
Perfect Binding: Uses a strong polyurethane glue; ideal for thick books and high durability.
Burst Binding: Pages are notched for better glue adhesion; stronger than regular perfect binding.

What are your turnaround times?

This will vary depending on the product, quantity, and finishing options of your order.
However, we aim for 5 to 7 working days as a general turnaround time for most offset and large format jobs. Digital jobs are usually completed in 3 to 5 business days.
If you have a deadline please let us know when requesting for a quote so we can do our best to win the job and meet your deadline.

Do you offer same-day printing?

Yes, we offer same-day turnaround on small-run digital jobs, subject to availability and file readiness. Let us know what you need – we’re here to help.

What shipping options are available?

We use reliable independent couriers to deliver jobs nation-wide.
Alternatively customers are welcome to collect their orders from our office in Carrum Downs at no extra cost.
